Zoë Marriott has always wanted to be a writer. Her first book, The
Swan Kingdom, a young adult fairytale re-telling based on the
Hans Christian Anderson story 'The Wild Swans', was long-listed for the
Branford Boase Award, became a USBBY Outstanding International Book, was
an American Library Association Popular Paperback For Young Adults and
an International Reading Association Young Adult's Choice. Shadows
on the Moon, which won the prestigious Sasakawa Prize and was
shortlisted for the Leeds Book Award and the Lancashire Book of the Year,
cemented Zoë's place as a talented newcomer in fantasy and young adult
fiction. She is currently writing her first trilogy, a stunning urban
fantasy which is eagerly awaited by her fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
Zoë lives in a small town on the east coast with two cats, The Devil Hound (also known as Finn) and way, way too many books. She is an active blogger and reviewer.
