Since her debut picture book, What Does Daddy Do? (Puffin), Rachel's growing portfolio of warm and funny picture books mark her out as a real star on the picture book scene. Her books have been shortlisted for the Cambridgeshire, Heart of Hawick, Nottingham, UKLA, Peters Book of the Year and Junior Magazine's Most Promising New Talent awards. She has been longlisted for the Greenaway Medal and was unanimously chosen to be World Book Day Illustrator 2013.
