Mark Burgess

Mark has been writing and illustrating children's books for over a quarter of a century. He also adapted and coloured Peggy Fortnum's illustrations for the 50th Anniversay Edition of A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond, and provided new illustrations for a classic edition of Little Toot by Hardie Gramatky.

He illustrated the first authorised sequel to Winnie-the-Pooh, Return to Hundred Acre Wood in the style of E.H. Shepard, which was published amidst a global blaze of publicity in autumn 2009. Mark is also a computer programmer, designing plugins for ZBrush, an innovative illustration and 3D sculpting software package used for games, film animation and special effects.
