The Miles Stott Children’s
Literary Agency was founded by Nancy Miles in 2003. The agency represents
authors and illustrators of a broad range of children’s books
for all ages internationally, and seeks to exploit all areas of
rights representation.
The MSCLA is well placed to direct and nurture talented authors
and illustrators – whether debut or mid-career - and ensure
that their work is represented professionally throughout the world.
It has close contact with all the UK publishing houses, large and
small, and is active in selling US, translation, merchandising,
film and television rights.

In addition to individual
clients, the MSCLA also represents the lists of publishers Roaring
Brook Press (USA), Allen
& Unwin (Australia) and agency Barry
Goldblatt Literary (USA).
The agency accepts unsolicited artwork, texts and manuscripts for
picture books, novelty books and fiction for children of all ages,
including teen fiction. The agency does not handle non-fiction or
poetry. For information about how to submit your work, please click
on Submissions.
The Miles Stott Children’s Literary Agency is a member of
the Association of Authors’ Agents.
